Announcement: MSML × KAMIYA Collaboration Items Launch
The first team-up item with KAMIYA, a leading brand in today’s fashion scene, will be available exclusively at POP-UP tour events bringing together the MSML 2024A/W collection.
〈About MSML x KAMIYA〉
MSML is a brand run by three directors, including two musicians who represent Japan’s loud rock scene. KAMIYA designer Kamiya has known the brand’s directors for years. Their longstanding relationship includes Katsuma providing original graphics for a past collection designed by Kamiya. This led MSML to reach out to KAMIYA, bringing this collaboration to life. The two brands combined their sensibilities to create two items: “L/S TEE” and “ORIGINAL BANDANA.”
The theme of this collaboration is “Bootleg.” With this theme in mind, MSML selected two styles from KAMIYA’s 24A/W collection.
The L/S TEE features a fire pattern created by Katsuma to complement the eagle motif on the front, and “Music Saved My Life” lettering on the back, both rendered in cracked print. It also has a bootleg-style gimmick: the KAMIYA label at the left hem is concealed by a MSML label.
The ORIGINAL BANDANA features an original bandana created by KAMIYA, with the “So Fuckin’ Special” lettering printed in inkjet.
These limited-edition collaboration items will be available exclusively in-store during POP-UP events at nubian Harajuku, Nagoya, and Osaka, and ROYAL FLASH Jingumae.
The three MSML directors, KOJI, T$UYO$HI (The BONEZ, Pay money To money Pain, Dragon Ash), and Katsuma (coldrain), are also scheduled to be in attendance at the event. Please see below for the POP-UP event schedule and director appearance schedule.
